Eriko Azuma

Introduction: Hi! I am a Tokyo born and raised Japanese translator/interpreter based in sunny Los Angeles. I've translated magazine articles and TV shows (subtitles) and interpreted at live lectures and film festivals. I am very flexible with schedule. Turnouts for documents are pretty fast, and when I interpret in person, I am very personable. Because of my deep understanding of both Japanese and American culture, I can contextualize certain things as necessary and deliver them to the audience instead of only translating word by word. My strength is in arts and entertainment (I am also great with children), but I am more than willing to translate/interpret anything, from daily conversations to medical terms.
