Introduction: Razzmatazz is a soft jazz ensemble based in West Los Angeles. We offer enjoyable entertainment and a relaxing warmth to audiences by performing favorite jazz and popular songs and instrumental tunes from the big band era through the 1980s. We specialize in the following:
* music from the great American songbook and big band era
* the raucous music of the 1950s
* the close harmony of the Beach Boys, the Bee Gees, Manhattan Transfer, and doo-wop groups
* the sophisticated sounds of the 1960s and 70s
* Latins, waltzes, cha chas, tangos and other dance music
The group features vocalist and percussionist Jan Abell, drummer and vocalist Pete Lippman, trumpet and percussion player Craig Peterson, and keyboardist-singer Steve Fry. During their distinguished tenure performing at the Culver Hotel a few years ago, they presented "a sunburst of jazz, country and jukebox standards."
