Loved working with Lucia. She taught me everything I needed to know about beginning jewelry soldering and was very informative and patient in the process. I even have been able to set up a little home studio to do it on my own at home. Would love to take more classes in the future.

I had the pleasure of learning some jewelry making techniques from Lucia. She taught me how to solder rings and bezel using specific techniques that maximized the durability of the rings. I learned from her to properly clean and polish the metals after every stage of soldering and manipulating the metal. She also taugh me basic stone setting for prongs and bezel cups. I look forward to taking some more lessons from her.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a fine jewelry artist with 10 years learning experience from professional jewelry classes to single workshops, in the US and Italy.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a lot of patience, I love to share my knowledge and I have pretty good skills at teaching. I was just considering starting teaching metalsmithing when I was contacted by the Thumbtack team and that "ignited the torch"!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach sound fabrication skills with patience and dedication. I offer and share my great experience to help achieve success, from personal to business.
