Master Torres is awesome with kids and adult alike. I learned self discipline, focus and perseverance in his class together with my daugther. Because of this class, I now have more self confidence. We are so lucky to have him as our mentor.

Their enthusiasm for martial arts is contagious and they will certainly pass this along to any student at their Academy. I highly recommend them.

I started in 2008 at Crescent Moon Karate Academy with a couple of lessons. I was very satisfied with the level of care and focus that each student received. I made the best decision by joining. I am now a member of the Black Belt Club.

A. We are a "Black Belt School". We don't just train people to become Black Belts. We are training you to become the best that you can be in all areas of life. We are creating champions within the community. We are developing children's character, self confidence and focus, and our tool is Karate.
A. What is Karate?
Karate is a martial art system of self-defense that originated hundreds of years. Literally, the term karate means “empty hand,” referring to the fact that its practitioners use no weapons to attack and defend, but only the hands, feet, and body. Karate combines smooth flowing, evasive movements with sudden kicks and strikes. Traditional karate consists of many basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks. When you begin to master these basics, we will help you blend in together more complex combinations with strategy and tactics, and a more contemporary freestyle form. Emphasis is placed on power, both physical and mental. Through hard training and practice, karate will not only develop your body, but also your mind and character, as you learn real life strategies to defend yourself and loved ones from attack.
A. All of our Black Belt Instructors are Certified each year in teaching techniques and skills. These certifications are recognized throught the Martial Arts industry.
