I wanted to thank Ramiro for his patience and understanding. Ramiro helped my daughter with some problems that I could not remember how to work. At the end of the meeting, my daughter was more confident and satisfied with Ramiro's tutoring. We will use him again if he is available. Thank you for your service to our country. It is nice to meet a fellow Golden Eagle...

My son has Asperger/ADD..Mr Martinez has been so awesome an patient with him. When my son got distracted several times, I was amazed how Mr. Martinez would bring him back to focus on his task. He is even teaching me how to work with him.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

While attrnding college as I served the Navy, I noticed alot of my co workers who had been out of school for so long struggled with main concepts. I just started helping not knowing it is an actual job called "tutoring". Then i I got crla cert through my local college and loved helping others learn. The only reason i had to leave was because my tour was over and had to move to san diego. after serving the navy, i am back in la, my hometown where i attend csula as a junior in my elec eng degree. It is hard to find flexible positions as an undergrad so i decided to go indep for whomever wants to invite me on their academic journey. my motto is always "let's learn together".

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My favorite thing other than working on the subject itself is helping students learn how to learn.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

tutored one of my college tuttees. By the end of the semester her trigonometry grade went from a d to a b and she was so satisfied that she hired me privately to tutor her 3 children. I am proud to use her as a reference ever since.
