- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started teaching because I have always enjoyed helping other people; to me there is no better feeling than knowing I made a positive impact on someone's life, and many times students are profoundly grateful for the help I am able to provide.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common subject for tutoring is Spanish, perhaps because of word-of-mouth advertising from other students and because of translating (subtitles) I have done for various documentaries, but I also enjoy tutoring English, math, statistics, film production (including picture and sound editing), and various other subjects.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish I could show clients before our first session how relaxed and pleasant our time will be together. Many are anxious about meeting for the first time, but all of my students feel welcome and at home with me as soon as we start working together.
