Introduction: Driven by her love for anything beauty and art, Joyce Platon was propelled to pursue a professional career in makeup artistry. Backed by training and experience with Makeup For Ever Paris Philippines, she was included as part of their first original Pro Team. Here, Joyce completed the advanced beauty, photography and high fashion makeup; facial beauty and fashion makeup for professional artists and full HD program trained by Make Up For Ever Paris' international makeup artist and trainer, David Arbid. Moreover, she has certificates from Cirque du Soleil master class and powerful beauty master class which was conducted by Cirque du Soleil's makeup director, Julie Begin, in Singapore. She has also undergone and met all training requirements for photography and TV makeup class handled by international makeup artist, Roshar. Based in Los Angeles, California, and being a part of luxury skin and makeup brand, Shu Uemura, Joyce often works for billboard ads, celebrities, fashion shows, television commercials and notable newspapers and magazines such as Esquire Philippines, PREVIEW, Garage Magazine, Town & Country, FHM, UNO, METRO Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Candy, Northern and Southern Living, Manila Bulletin and Philippine Star, to name a few. She also finds time to beautify other clients for weddings/debuts/and other functions and organize makeup workshops that is open to anyone.
