Introduction: For the past 10 years my students have had success in being ahead of their class when they have worked with me during the summer. If they were behind we have been able to bring their grades up significantly by the end of the school year. I am very patient and I bring my own lesson plans and materials to improve the students. I use games and creative ways to keep my students engaged. I also with parents permission work with the teacher to see where are the specific areas that the student needs improvements on. I love the student interaction and when my students do well. I love the feeling I get when my students succeed and they are so confident and proud of themselves.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
yes. I have made myself familiar with common core that is launching this coming school year for the California schools.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have worked in the Education world since I started working as a teenager. I started by working for Kaplan, then I worked at Maric College, then I started to work for the no child left behind act through the LAUSD.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach reading, writing, phonics, basic computers, math, pre-Algebra, social studies, elementary science, and ESL. I do homework with them as well as customized lesson plans that I provide.
