- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently enrolled in college courses. I am majoring in communication disorders.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always helped kids or even adults with certain subjects that wasn't clear as a child myself. I like to challenge myself and it keeps my mind up and running as well because the saying goes if you don't use it you loose it.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was currently laid off from working with special needs children. I seen so much grow in students and potential in students that the average individual wouldn't think they were capable of due to their disabilities. I assisted a young boy with becoming more aware of his body. he is not completely ambulatory but I was able to get him to take a few step with assistant. It brought tears to his family and due to my consistency with the child he began to progress greatly.
