- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I just recently got back the first college show with my band, The Fire & The Phoenix. It was at the University of Nevada in Reno. We were hired to play an hour set outdoors and it was 49 degrees with a windchill of at least 15 or 20, so our hands were numb by the second song. We ended up pulling through it and played a great show!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Regardless of what age you are at, or whatever level of mental capability you may have, try to figure out for yourself what it is that you want to learn. Not just "the guitar," but what about the guitar? Do you want to learn chords? Do you want to learn soloing? Do you want to learn how to write songs with a guitar? If you are able to hone your focus in on what you want, you will be much more successful in attracting the right teacher.
