- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love learning and I love being creative. Technology has definitely helped to increase the amount that I have been able to do both and has led me to many different jobs part-time, full-time, and freelance. It actually has not been until lately that I decided to put my experiences and knowledge to use by creating a job out of it - I am the manifestation of my inner child.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Using my experience I make a quick initial assessment of my client to analyze what they desire to learn and what the best means of teaching might be, whether more hands-on, visual, kinetic, vocal, etc...I then begin streamlining resources that my client can use to facilitate their learning process while making sure that they maintain the positive attitude needed to take in new information. I also make myself as available as possible to answer any questions they may have and demonstrate the ways in which learning how to be creative or in good physical shape can help in the other areas of life so they don't feel like learning is separate than the 9-5 (i.e. how playing music/sports can be a part of team-playing, how being healthy can translate to better sales, better relationships, etc...
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My best advice would be to think of the reason(s) why you'd like to either get in better shape, learn how to create/play musically, or create with software and to never lose sight of this/these reason(s). Always have fun! Creating is fun.
