FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The economy's still tough, so I've been reluctant to raise prices too much. But, also I get a sense of someone's situation and can adjust my price within reason. A little bit less is better than a client not being served. Group rates go according to how many, location and other demands.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Starting with a new client, it's important to understand quickly what the client's goals and needs are. I typically give a somewhat random battery of exercises to see where a client is physically, cardiovascularly, balance and agility-wise. Once I assess strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes, I can tailor the program specifically to suit the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm currently rehabbing my own freak accident injury and needed to develop a program that allows me to maintain my strength, endurance, flexibility and leanness as I work myself back to 100%. As it turns out, the components and approach to my workout are mentioned in an online publication that increases the endurance of large muscled, explosive athletes that normally peter out quickly, because both were thought to be mutually exclusive. So, I'm always learning, discovering and creating new ways of improving every aspect of what we're capable of doing. Every aspect of my life is about expansion and growth.
