Introduction: Triad Health and Fitness is built on the premise that a successful path to change our lives involves a three pronged approach; that of proper training, proper nutrition and a proper state of mind. As an ACE certified personal trainer, ACE certified health coach and certified Senior Fitness Specialist, I've researched many modalities that can be individualized to your health and fitness needs. From resistance bands to medicine balls, strength training, stretching, balance techniques and meditation, cooking classes, kitchen assessments, time management strategies and meal planning, I have the tools to help you change your life. I especially enjoy working with over the age of 35 who feel that they have lost their way or really never felt they began to work on a happier, healthier self. For those of you who feel self-conscious about training in a gym, so much the better. I'm willing to train you in your home or my private gym. I look forward to helping you reach your health and fitness goals. Feel free to contact me. I focus on lifestyle and behavior changes, not fad diets or temporary fixes. I don't want to set up a dependent relationship with my clients, I want to give them solid facts and advice that they can use now and later down the road. I'd say that what I enjoy most about what I do is the transformative aspect. I really enjoy seeing the happiness my clients experience when they drop that last 20lbs., have a new level of stamina to walk a few miles, learn how to make nutritious meals for themselves, or...............develop rock hard abs and a killer tush.

I love David's three-fold approach to wellness. We started working together about six months ago. I had recently turned 50 and was dealing with many physical and emotional transitions. I had been scared off by previous trainers who gave me workouts that left me sore, exhausted, and discouraged. David taught me some simple yoga postures and mild toning exercises. These, along with walking, helped me develop the confidence to embark on a more active lifestyle. Gradually, we have been working to improve my stamina and strength. Previous trainers pushed frequent workouts and sold me their gym's bars and shakes. These items were very expensive and tasted awful! David encourages self-reliance between sessions. He has given me recipes for nutritious meals and snacks that taste good, cool the body, and calm the mind.

David helped me put together a great program. I was looking to tone and lose some weight. I especially liked the menus he worked with me on to improve my diet. Very tasty!

David did great work with my weight. I was 30 pounds too heavy and his realistic approach helped me loose it in around 4 months. He made me stick to a good routine not a quick diet. i had done those before and it didnt work. Exercise and learning about making good food choices for me and not just eating on the run.. We also brought my blood pressure down so i could go on a lower dose of medicine which was great. He always answered my questions; on the phone or by computer even tho we only worked out 2 times a week. I would recommend him highly..

I met David through a mutual friend who told him I wanted to get healthier after my mom passed from multiple health issues. He helped me focus on what I wanted(stop smoking, weight loss, buff up a bit). He put together my program through which I am feeling better than I have in years, I'm 42. He pushed me to tackle the tough issues and since he was an ex-smoker he understood the difficulties with quitting cigarettes. Using the patch and his help I am now 3 months smoke free and I haven't balooned up in weight as I was afraid of. I actually have lost 11 of my 15 pounds goal weight and look good in a tank top again.
