Goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Train with a professional Worlds Strongest Man competitor! Just this year, I placed second in America's Strongest Man and am now preparing for Worlds Strongest Man in 2016. The training we will do is functional and ability based. From learning how to move your body confidently, powerfully, and safely, you'll also obtain other desires; you'll create a sculpted, lean, and strong body. You will also have a lot more going for you than just chiseled abs alone; you'll be able to jump higher, run faster, lift heavier, and be confident in your abilities while looking good too. My favorite part of the work I do is teaching. It's important to learn how to obtain your goals, why the methods I show you work, and how to keep your mind focused on accomplishing your desires. When we train together, I feel the greatest joy when you hone your bodies capabilities, look the way you want, and feel great. It's a purpose I aspire to.

Hi ! My name is Olivier. I am a 55 years old French man living in Los Angeles. Martins Licis has been my personal trainer for more than 3 years. Martins is a great trainer and an awesome human being. I can sincerely say that all the hours I have spent working out under the support and the control of Martins have made me a much stronger and healthier man, physically and mentally. My training with him has become an essential part of my Californian life ... An inspiration !

Martins is an outstanding trainer! I tried 4 other trainers before meeting him, and he's the only one who made me progress. He is passionate about what he does and find creative ways to challenge you every session. If you're looking to make progress he's the right guy for you!

Martins has been training me for a few months already and has been an incredible motivator! I have had long-term shoulder issues that I honestly thought I might have to seek a doctors assistance with but after training with Martins for only a short time the pain i've had for years while trying to gain strength and weight has been nearly eliminated! His advice on diet and nutrition has been invaluable. And perhaps my favorite part of my experience is that he taught me the correct way to do a dead-lift! I thought I already knew but I was wrong. Ha! I do now!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am NCSF certified and am required to take workshops, attend seminars, and take online quizzes to recertify every two years. I am also attending school to pursue a degree in kinesiology.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

From the young age of eleven, my father began to train me in bodybuilding and powerlifting. At first, I really didn't like it! However, over the span of a year, I became addicted and began to immerse myself in fitness literature. By the age of fifteen, I was stronger than anybody in my school, including all the adults, and began to train the sports teams of my school. Now, I compete in Strongman professionally, and train others to be powerful and feel great in their own bodies.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common work I do with my clients is teaching them how to move with confidence and no joint pain. Within the first month of training, you'll feel lighter on your feet, lift heavier, quicker, and more efficiently. Once your movements are sharpened, other goals become more easily attainable, including weight loss, muscle gain, strength gain, endurance, and health.
