Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My main objective is to keep your pet safe. I've been hired by other organizations and businesses in the industry to conduct training classes regarding dog handling. My methods for safety are higher than most businesses, we are leading the way for a safety standard to be uniform through out the pet industry. I get to work with dogs, whom I believe are the most amazing animals on the planet! Getting to help owners bond with their pet through training or helping owners feel confident that their pet is treated like our own pet when we are walking or pet sitting is the best job in the world.

Has been wonderful introducing us to both of our dogs, both rescues. She has always been there for us to help with all different aspects of our dogs lives. We are so grateful for all she has done for us.

Jill is an absolute angel! She rescues and trains dogs with extraordinary skill, compassion and professionalism. There's no one I would trust more (or have I) with my pets. So grateful!

Simply the best. Jill took care of our 3 "kids" for several years and they (and we) absolutely adored her. She loves all animals and it shows. She is patient and kind and treats them as if they were her own. My favorite thing about her is that she always puts safety first, which for a paranoid mama like me, was extremely important. Unfortunately we moved outside of her coverage area so we weren't able to continue with her. Anyone working with her will be extremely lucky!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've always had animals growing up. Trained my dogs basic obedience tricks when I was little and extra fun stuff like climbing ladders and jumping through hoops. When in collage and asked what would be your dream job it was working with animals and working in a non profit. After a few years of volunteering I ended up interning with a master trainer that trained seeing eye dogs for the blind. I loved his work ethic and how he never used harsh training methods that I've seen other trainers use. It all just evolved from training to providing dog walking services for my clients and then expanded to pet sitting. I continue to help train dogs in local rescue groups as well as the dogs in my own non profit.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Dog training, walking, hiking, in clients home pet sitting, groomer drop off and pick up, vet visits. On certain occasions we do group hikes/walks and beach trips too!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

That pet care is an extremely important job and owners shouldn't hire people that are just doing this for extra money. The stories I've hear about the unreliable dog walkers or pet sitters people have had in their homes frighten me. I can't imagine putting my pets or my home in someones care that wasn't a qualified professional.
