A. Make sure that your potential provider is bonded, insured, and a member of a pet affilliation(PSI, NAPPS). I would also recommend to the customer to request references and background checks upon scheduling a consultation. Your potential provider should also be able to provide you with material that states the benefits of hiring a pet sitter.
A. The most important inside secret that I can share is that you have to have lots of patience when it comes to being a pet care provider.

A. I've loved taking care of animals for a very long time. To me, they are very theraputic and some of the greatest listeners. I could easily have a conversation with an animal as if they were on 2 legs rather than 4. Plus, my Other Mom has her own pet sitting business and through her business, I feel that I developed more of a passion for animals.
