Fils Tunechi

Introduction: Fils Tunechi (born September 13, 1996), is an American music video director and editor, award-winning, English documentary film director, British music video director, record producer, actor, singer, songwriter, script writer, film director and editor, photographer, television commercial director and comics writer. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He has directed and edited music videos for chart-topping R&B, rap and rock artists. At the age of eight, while living near Los Angeles, Fils began filming skateboard videos, short films, music and concerts. He moved to Africa in 2008. Before graduating from high school, he was already an award winning filmmaker. He went on to film school at Chapman University, where he began producing and directing music videos for both national and local artists, along with two award winning films. He then went to be Head of Creative for an online music video channel, which landed him the job as director for a nationally syndicated television show. As a music video director, his most notable and frequent collaborator is Rihanna. The two have worked on sixteen music videos together throughout her career, beginning with "Unfaithful" in 2006, and most recently "Diamonds" in 2012. He has also written and directed music videos for many other prominent artists including Jay-Z, Beyonce, Eminem, Usher, Shakira, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, 50 Cent, Ne-Yo, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Snoop Dogg, Cheryl Cole, M.I.A., Mary J Blige, fun. and Lana Del Rey, Cher, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Jessie J, Nelly Furtado, Destiny's Child, Gloria Estefan, Steven Tyler, Enrique Iglesias, Adam Lambert, Cheryl Cole, Alesha Dixon, Diddy, Willow Smith, Amerie, Sean Paul, Christina Milian, The-Dream, Backstreet Boys, Melanie C and Ciara.
