- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my pricing straight-forward with no hidden fees or strings attached. My wedding photography coverage typically begins around $4850. Engagement sessions begin at $750.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been drawn to people-watching and loved photography from a young age. Years ago I was asked to shoot a wedding as an associate to another photographer, and I was completely hooked. After that point I continued to shoot for other photographers, and worked for a large wedding photography studio. After I gathered the experience and confidence I needed, I branched out on my own and have been working for myself ever since!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you're a good personality fit! You're going to spend more time with your photographer than with any other vendor on your wedding day. Make sure you REALLY love this person, and trust her to be a calming presence even in the most hectic circumstances.
