Introduction: I have six years’ experience in filmmaking, including everything from pre-production to distribution. Early on, I discovered my passion for filmmaking when I created a mock episode of Saturday Night Live as part of a self­guided, independent study project and began dreaming of working professionally in the film industry one day. In high school, I continued as a self-­taught filmmaker, attended a film camp offered through WHYY (the local PBS affiliate), and received two years of hands-­on instruction through Apple in the use of Final Cut Pro. In high school, I became the go-to person for all things related to filmmaking. I love it when people enjoy the work I've created. By senior year, I directed a short film as part of my senior portfolio. Over eight months, I pulled together virtually every element of the film (concept, writing, casting, scheduling and coordination, securing locations and obtaining local clearances, camera work, directing, editing, etc.) to the fullest degree I could, even having a private premiere party at a local indie/arts theater. I later presented it to the school community. In 10th grade I additionally found a calling for photography. Over the next several years I would learn more technical and visual elements and beginning to develop my styles. I was usually the go-to person in high school for yearbook photographer and casual portrait photographer. In college I took digital and film photography classes; learning more technical elements and fine-tuning my styles. I began to work on still-life images, landscapes, and cityscapes. I'm interested in film and television production work also.
