Introduction: I have a background spanning 20 years in the fashion and entertainment industries, on both sides of the camera, that gives me a unique perspective to help you look your best through posing techniques, access to the best makeup artists, and lighting reflective of my study with some of the worlds best photographers. Jan is one of the best photographers in Los Angeles, seriously. I was referred to her by a friend who advised me not to spend a fortune on overpriced photographers with little skill. Jan has done several projects for me. I keep returning to her because I can trust the quality of work that she does. I don't want to say anything negative, but... sike. There's nothing bad to say. Her prices are competitive, her work is professional, and she has a flexible schedule. I haven't seen that from any of the other photographers I've worked with. Jan has an amazing ability to capture the moment. She's very knowledgable and stands out as someone whom you can trust. Whether it's photographing children weddings, or sexy pinups, Jan seems to be a master of all the styles. She let me take a glance at some of her published work while we were waiting for makeup and I couldn't be more impressed. She's been in just about every photo and fashion magazine you can name (in front and behind the lens!). She's a beautiful woman, and I found out she used to do fashion and retail modeling back in the day, which is why she understands the subject so well. I can't say enough good things about Jan and the work that she does. A volunteer, a dedicated artist, and a perfectionist of the trade.

Jan is a professional photographer, and she is incredible! I had a boudoir photo session done with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. Im glad to have experienced this with her as she made my birthday extravaganza a blast. She directs you but takes into account anything specific you want or are looking for. If you have never taking photos like this, no worries, she is patient, very informative and knowledgable. She has a good eye and you will feel and look like a model when your done. If you want the standard cookie-cutter photographs that you would get at Sears, then go to Sears. If you want incredible photos that you never imagined anyone could take of you, then go to Jan. She is amazing! Like I said at the beginning, she is a professional photographer, which means that you pay for the sitting and you pay for each photo you buy separately. You do not get any of the negatives or digital photos those belong to her. So the entire event is nothing like, sears, glamour shots or your one hour photo studios. It is not cheap but You will get timeless photos in exchange for which to me is worth the price. Jan's wedding photos capture every significant detail from the start of the day, to the very last emotional moment!!! Each time we view our wedding pictures, we are in awe of the detail and the moments she captured that we weren't able to observe during the hustle and bustle of our cherished day!!! One of our most amazing experiences, of working with Jan, was when she provided us with a personal wedding day photo album gift to take with us on our Honeymoon!!!
