Jonathan is an actor's photographer - he captures the moment, the essence, and the style of the actor in mid-moment. He's very easygoing, humorous, yet has the strength to direct the actor towards a capture-able energy. He never puts you in a "pose"; instead, he promotes breath and movement and action, then captures that in a photograph. He knows the actor's brain, the actor's doubts and desires, and because of that, my agent and I had a hard time deciding through all our photos which to choose from for my "main" shots (yet we knew instinctively which the outstanding ones were!). Highly recommended if you're in the Los Angeles metropolitan area! (and Jonathan, if you ever visit NYC, let's make a date).

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Shop around, find someone who you're comfortable with and who has a proven track record. It's important also to find out how much time they'll be spending with you and whether that time is one-on-one or whether you'll be sharing your shoot time. These questions are often overlooked and can be deal-breakers.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I work one on one with my clients (not a 'headshot mill') to achieve the best possible results for their marketing purposes. I know what CDs and other industry professionals respond to and use that information to create headshots that are the most effective. Headshots are not just for actors though. Many professionals and others come to me for everything from professional profile shots to online dating site images. I guarantee your satisfaction with the results.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love working with new talented people everyday. My greatest joy though comes from the results my photos create. When I hear back: "Hey my new headshots got me a guest star audition, and I booked it!" or: "The new shots are getting me out more than I've ever been before!" THATS what I really love about my job: Making my clients happy. :)
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Depending on whether or not they've visited my website: http://stunningheadshots.com I might not get any questions at all. I've made it my duty to put the answers to any new questions that I might not have answered previously quickly up on my site. I try to make that info as easily digestible as possible too. But to answer the question the most frequent question from someone who hasn't visited the site is: "what are your rates?"
