I had the privilege to work for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in 2012 and ended my tour of duty in 2013. During my time at DHS I was assigned multiple assignments. For example, processing and servicing of bonds for obligors and detainees for the purpose of being released out of Immigration custody. Furthermore, O'Hara was one of the first staff members who introduced himself to me and offered to assist me with any difficulties I might encounter with my job duties and expressed to me an open door policy; if I ever needed help navigating around the office.
O'Hara was a good source, in my opinion, to speak to about the Enforcement side of the office. I was able to better understand the role of the office and how it intertwine with my job duties. In addition, I encountered a few difficulties when assisting with case management immigration files. O'Hara was able to explain to me how to investigate the cases through the DHS database systems, which helped me determine whether the case was still active or ready to close it.
In my opinion, O'Hara was always available to assist me with my questions and when he didn't he sought for an answer....going above and beyond his duties. Because of O'Hara's assistance with my questions I was able to accomplish my daily task and provide professional and quality work to the community we served.
I would have liked to learn more about the Enforcement side from O'Hara since he has a strong solid law enforcement background. I'm confident that O'Hara will succeed in his new chapter in life as a Private Investigator for "O'Hara Investigative Service" I wish him the best of luck!
