Oliver took me on as a student returning to the clarinet after 60 years! Building on a positive experience of having played in my high school band in the '50's, Oliver is guiding me back into the enjoyment of learning music. He is patient yet challenging, promoting excellence of tone and technique. His ability to teach with a light touch and a sense of humor makes being his student a genuine pleasure. Then, too, for a senior person, the brain fitness benefit is a real bonus.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Practice!! I also perform regularly with the Palisades Symphony Orchestra and various other ensemble concerts. I teach at three locations and am a member of the International Clarinet Society.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started playing clarinet at the age of 12 and by 14 or 15 began teaching as well.
What types of customers have you worked with?
One hour in-home private clarinet/saxophone, or Music Theory lessons.
