FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer tutoring services in your home or at a public location like a library, cafe or park. I will travel up to 10 miles at no additional cost and up to 30 miles with a small travel fee.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been an educator for most of my life: helping out friends before the big test, tutoring all grade levels, teaching dance. I even tutored my sister in her college classes when I was a Junior in high school! I got my first tutoring job when I was in Junior High School working with elementary school students in math and I continued through High School doing volunteer after school tutoring in the library. This work was facilitated by my other job as a dance instructor since both require individualized lesson planning for each student's unique needs. I find great fulfillment in helping students reach their goals and gain confidence in themselves.
