Danny Chung

Introduction: I'm a highly-trained video editor with experience in editing documentaries, short films, sizzle reels and trailers. I am sure that my educational background, relevant industry experience and technical skills will qualify me for the position. I have included my resume with details of my work history and experience. After serving two years in the Republic of Korea Army as an operation officer/commander's primary assistant, which required a high level of responsibility and efficiency, I graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree in Film and Media studies from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2012 and acquired vast knowledge about different editing software and skills, including editing, graphic composition, color correction, and sound mixing. While working as an intern at Imaginuat Entertainment and Charlie Lapson Group, I learned basic production workflows, roles and departments. Also, I edited many SAG Foundation events, personal events, documentaries, and interviews of various celebrities from red carpet events and became proficient in transferring and digitizing video in different formats, like NTSC, miniDV, and PAL. With my creative talents and editing skills, I was hired as a video editor at Hollywood Branded, Inc. My duties were to clip and report product placements placed in TV shows, films and commercials, and to enter them into a database system for creating sizzle reels. All the sizzle reels that I edited include graphics and title overlays created in Adobe After Effects with music and sound effects. Currently, I work as a radio board operator at a radio station called Radio Korea. This position is designed to air live and pre-recorded programs, commercials, and promos as scheduled while maintaining quality broadcast.
