Introduction: As a professional photographer, everyday I capture joy and beauty. I love my job. I grew up in the great state of Ohio, where I graduated with a degree in telecommunications from Ohio University. In 2006, I moved to Los Angeles to start a career in film and build a life on the west coast. I got a dog and fell in love. After years of working in video production and public relations, I decided that still photography was my greatest passion. I followed my heart, opening my own full-service business, LKR Photography, specializing in weddings and events, family and lifestyle photos. Photos become art when they tell a story, not just of a subject, time and place, but of the emotion and spirit therein. In my work, I collaborate with my clients as a storyteller -- capturing their special moments as photographic art to always be cherished.
