- What types of customers have you worked with?
Family, Engagement, Newborns and Weddings are my most commonly booked sessions. I was a manager of a school in Thailand, and kids just crack me up. They are so full of life and so much for me to capture with my camera! They are absolutely hilarious and can normally loosen up the adults (who might need it!). And I don't think there has been one wedding yet where I haven't teared up. I can't help it! All that love is infectious.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Oh, the Canoe. A dear friend wanted her engagement photos taken. I was comfortable enough to ask her if they would get in her canoe and float down a river for me. She was apprehensive but on board! Woohoo! I have her and her Fiancé float under a bridge about three times so I could get the right moment - still water, leaves all around, wine and love - check! It's probably one of my top 5 favorite photos and is currently hanging on my wall.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Go with your gut. Everyone's style is different! If you want more of a posed-edited look, or a lifestyle-natural look, find that one that makes you smile from looking at their portfolio. Pictures are something that are not done too often and it's important to go with what you would want to see hanging on your walls or on the screens of your electronics. :)
