FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been a writer, but it was "just" a passion. In my mid-20s, after years of working in the nonprofit sector, I picked up and moved to Spain. i spent two years traveling and teaching English, and suddenly had time for reading again. Reading led me back to writing and by the time I came back to LA, I was committed to turning my passion into a career - And I succeeded!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
While I'm an entertainment journalist, first, I am a Jack of All Trades for my private clients. In addition to professional marketing and PR materials, I've helped several clients draft or finesse letters, reports and essays for legal cases, school and financial aid applications and various work projects. - What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Be wary of anyone offering to do your work for a pittance. Yes, I was already a strong writer when I broke into the business. I did some great work - Sometimes a newbie will pan out. But that doesn't mean they're professionals yet. If you want a pro with experience, you have to pay for it.
