Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. I typically deal with a couple kinds of clients:
A) pregnant mommas who seek relief from back pain, achey necks, and tiredness -- I help see them through their pregnancy, prepare their bodies, and rejuvenate their energy level, especially post-partum.
B) stressed-out, hard-working busy individuals who spend long hours in front of their desks/computers, and who want to get back into exercising, or keep flexible for their active lives -- I help professionally stretch them out so they become limber, energetically robust, and relaxed.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I trained in northern Thailand, where this style of massage keeps its yogic influence. Hence the name Thai Yoga Massage: it's nickname is "Lazy Man's Yoga" because you get all the benefits from yoga (feeling calm, centered, relaxed, and flexible), without doing any of the work (I do all the heavy lifting!). I also teach kundalini yoga. And I have worked on all kinds of body types: fat, thin, short, tall, men, women, old, young, scolisis, sciatica, stroke survivors -- which means I am very confident in my touch.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Why did you get into this type of work?
Where did you train and what experience have you had since then?
Is this work effective for stiff, inflexible people?
What results have your customers experienced through your work?
What should I experience my first time seeing you?
Do clients come to see you or is there the option of coming to my home?
