Introduction: I have the knowledge and experience from 11 years of teaching to help you find the practice that is best for you, on any given day. One size does NOT fit all. Yoga is a great tool to develop a "Happiness Practice." In real estate, the mantra is "location, location, location." In truth, what we think is where we live. We owe it to ourselves to live in a great place. An integrated yoga practice can develop skills to live a happier life, so that our minds do not take us to miserable places. There is a better way! Happiness, like any art, needs daily practice. Yoga is an amazing tool for this. Connecting personally with each student in a meaningful way is one of the great joys of teaching yoga. Knowing how to adapt the practice to the person makes it very rewarding. I have been graced in my life with some amazing teachers, most notably (in music), Leonard Bernstein. Oh, my what a teacher! His open-hearted approach to teaching ALL levels of musicians continues to be an inspiration to me, over 20 years after his death. By teaching this way, I honor him as well as my students.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We all teach downward facing dog, and Warrior 2, etc. What you'll want to do is find the right personality: humor, patience, knowledge, style, and focus should be a good match with you.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

When I first considered teaching, my teacher said to me, "You'd be a great teacher!" I was surprised at that sudden response, and asked why. He said, "You are not a born yogi: you had to work SO hard for EVERY little thing, you will have compassion and patience for your students."
