- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most common job includes diagnosing, eliminating and fixing computer virus, spyware, and malware infections and retrieving and recovering data. We often are asked to set up Internet (cable, dsl) and Voice over IP (VoiP) services including wired and wireless installations for routers, switches, and hubs. Finally, we specialize in serving as technical consultants for identifying and ordering new computer and phone systems at the best price to value point, ensuring that you avoid paying for features and software that are overpriced or will not be useful for your business.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We believe the most important aspect of hiring a computer consultant is that they are able to communicate clearly and effectively the process and the costs. It is common for us to receive clients who previously tried using a Best Buy "Geek Squad" or similar store, and were initially quoted a "free inspection" and ended up paying hundreds of dollars for service, software, and hardware without receiving a resolution to their issue. We prefer to be up front with how much it will cost - and leave it up to the customer to decide if they want it done right.
