Introduction: Jeannie - makeup and hair artist
Jeannie was born and raised in Houston, Texas. As a child, she watched her mother in admiration do her makeup and hair and dreamed that one day she could, too, beginning her love at the age of 3.
After getting her degree in elementary education at the University of Texas, she moved to Japan where she was a kindergarten teacher. During her time in Tokyo, she was influenced by the eclectic style, the bright city lights, and felt like she was living in a dream.
She decided to pursue her artistic talents in makeup and hair and made her vision a reality. She gained experience in Tokyo, working with photographers, models, actors, brides, and musicians from all over the world.
Cyndi - hair and makeup artist
Cyndi's lifelong passion to style hair and makeup came to fruition when she joined the Aveda Institute in Los Angeles California. Growing up in New York, Cyndi has started her career at a young age, styling her teammates for figure skating competitions and shows.
It was at this early age that she's gained an innovative spirit for hair and makeup design. Her natural tendency to keep up with the latest fashion trends has led to her to a rewarding career in the beauty industry. Cyndi has years of experience in styling for weddings, fashion, film and also working in a salon.
Together, they are iSIS Beauty Team. Jeannie and Cyndi met in 2010 in Los Angeles, while volunteering their services for "Project Rejuvenation - The Art of Giving"; leading a team of beauty professionals, they did makeovers for the Downtown LA Women's Shelter.
Since then, they have teamed up on many occasions, including weddings and special events. They love working together and wanted to do so indefinitely by creating Isis Beauty Team!
