Goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Family yoga is a great way to bond with your children. Maybe mom and dad are looking for a little yoga adventure? Family yoga incorporates group and partner poses. What child wouldn't like to see mom pretend she is a frog or make a connection with dad in down dog? Children’s yoga is a great way for parents to catch their breath while your child experiences new ways to connect with siblings and neighborhood friends in a safe and non-competitive environment. In-home yoga class is fun and exciting. We will take yoga journeys that are filled with imagination and exploration. The side effects of this journey are increased body awareness, balance and coordination, which will increase strength and flexibility. Yoga will instill confidence with new challenges and experiences. Children’s yoga teaches techniques that build focus, attention, as well as learning about breathing and relaxation. Kids’ yoga is a 45-minute class that is not modeled after an adult yoga class. It is more yoga play. The attention span and energy of a child is much different than that of an adult. Multiple class options are available from family size to kids only. The fee is $40 for one to four participants for 45 minutes. If you would like to have more than four participants, it will be an additional $10 per participant. This is for ages two and up. Qualifications: * 200-hour yoga works teacher training certified * 30-hour karma kids teacher training certified * yoga education for the autism spectrum * first aid and CPR certified * insured

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for a teacher who has done 200-hour teacher training, as well as kid's Yoga teacher training. Research where this training was from and if it is a recognizable company. Ask for references if you are unsure.
