Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be sure you know what your fitness goals are, meet or talk to a variety of certified trainers that can help you with your specific goals, be sure you have a personality match - if you don't like yelling, don't hire a bootcamp instructor! :) Overall, be sure they have education and experience to guide you to your fitness success!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I was looking for a trainer/yoga instructor/pre post natal specialist I would like to know the expert is reliable, will help me meet my goals, is going to challenge me and help me grow as a person, would like to educate me so I am not totally reliant upon the trainer forever, but was taught skills that I can take with me as I continue to live a healthy lifestyle.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What is your healthy living philosophy, what is your training style, how do you like to work with clients, are you educated, are you certified, do you have experience in working with clients like me, how can you help me achieve my fitness goals, how long will it realistically take me to reach my fitness goals, is there any way I can have fun as I complete my fitness goals?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. It is important to think about your time and schedule. What can you commit to living healthy and working with a fitness expert to help you achieve your fitness dreams. I don't expect you to spend hours in the gym, but it is important when you are exercising you use proper form, are consistent with workouts, and follow a healthy nutrition program.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love the excitement that my clients get when they achieve their goals. It is also amazing to see when clients begin to exercise, how they also start to make healthy food choices on their own. I have always loved helping others improve their lives through fitness.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I was always interested in how the body functions especially as an athlete in college then on to the professional ranks as an IFBB Fitness Pro. As a pro athlete, I wanted to find the best solutions to reaching top performance. Nowthat I am finished competing I have transferred my passion for fitness into a LOVE of helping others achieve their fitness goals. No two clients are alike, just like no two custom programs are the same.
