- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was recording a album with Michael Peterson at Harvest Moon Studios in Martinez. He offered to train me as a Disc Jockey for his company Abie Rhoade Music Services in order to pay for my studio time, as it was getting expensive. After 5 years of performing with Michael, I decided to start my own business Quantum Music!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I would have to say, definitely weddings. Weddings are the biggest percentage of our business. Of course we do a lot of parties and corporate events as well, but our main business is from weddings.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish people could seperate or realize there is a huge difference between the professionals in the event industry and the friend who has some gear and is a dj on the side or the relative who thinks they can help you plan the most important day of your life, with no experience.
