My name is Simon Mawer, and I'm a guitar teacher based in Menlo Park CA. I've been playing guitar for 17 years, and teaching for over 6 years. I love music, and I love teaching people of all ages how to play the guitar. I specialize in teaching beginners.
I teach people of all ages and abilities the acoustic, electric and bass guitar, and I love what I do :)

Fabulous teacher! Since the last time I had any instrumental lessons were back in elementary school, I was a bit nervous about learning how to play an instrument, but that nervous all disappeared because of Simon's very accommodating, welcoming, friendly teaching style. He accommodates to your current skills and have taught me numerous songs and drills to help me become more agile with the guitar. Being a beginner (2 months since I first started playing), I always can't wait to learn new songs and drills in my weekly private lessons. To any beginners out there wanting to learn how to play the guitar, I DEFINITELY recommend you to him. You won't regret it!!
