Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Look for a provider that has State of California certification. Find someone who is experienced and has an office.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Therapists want your feedback so they can modify their approach to your liking. Don't be shy to ask for what you want.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Ask about training and certification. Important to ask if they are state or nationally certified. New law in California says that only those therapist with state or national certification can call themselves a CMT.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. I work primarily with women. Are you comfortable with a mature male therapist? Massage requires partial or full nudity, and although I always drape clients to the degree that they like, you still need to be at ease with this factor. I can provide references for you to check me out, if that will make you more comfortable working with me.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have over 30 years experience and in depth training. Add to that a compasionate heart, an open mind, an a easy going manner, and a sesitive touch and you'll see why my clients return time after time. I have a background not only in studio work, but have worked for Sutter Health as a therapist for 15 years.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. l like working with and helping all types of people. Love working with my hands. It feels great to have a person leave my table feeling better than when they arrived. To know that this work is actually very beneficial to clients' health is a positive in this work. What a satisfying profession.
