A group of professors are offering low-cost tutoring services to high school and college students in Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), Math, and English.
Most of the instructors have over 20 years of tutoring and classroom teaching experience. With that experience, we have a lot of insights to help students understand the concepts more easily, and have more fun too.
We offer specialized reviews in AP courses, SAT / ACT preparation, as well as all levels of math and science.
Question and answer
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. All our professors and instructors have over 20 years of teaching experience. We all are passionate about teaching and sharing, and have more tools to help students to learn.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Making positive impact to students' learning experience everyday,
seeing students grow and expand their horizon.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Is our tutoring service only for failing students?
No. Sometimes meeting a good student even an hour a month can help solidified the student's understanding of the subject.
Is one-on-one tutoring better than small group sessions?
Not necessarily. One-on-one tutoring is most effective in term of time used. But students can benefit a lot from peers discussion also. Since it's less expensive to enroll in group sessions, it becomes more effective in term of dollar per performance. But again, in terms of time investment, one-on-one is still much better.
