Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Do your research and know what a full detail should consist of and what the going rate among the respected professionals are.
if a price sounds to good to be true...it is.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. In order to consider myself a professional and give the customer what they pay for and go beyond their expectations, I dedicate myself to vastly improving every vehicle I work on and i will not stop a job until I truly believe the vehicle looks as great as possible.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How much does Detailing Cost and Why Should I Detail the Car if I Wash it Weekly?
Detailing cost can vary, but my website gives you some great basic pricing for each service type.
As far as the difference between washing a car and detailing it? I liken it to the difference between a bus and a formula 1 car. They are both vehicle but that is where the comparisons stop. Detailing PRESERVES, PROTECTS and ENHANCES your cars exterior and interior surfaces. Washing alone may actually hurt your finish over time by contributing to swirls that etch away at your finish. Also, washing does nothing to remove ground in contaminants that damage your paint.
It also helps the vehicle maintain its resale value as Kelly Blue Book (TM) will not consider a vehicle to be in "excellent" condition no matter how well it runs unless the paint is in top shape as well.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. Every time I meet a customer that tells me "I doubt you can fix this" and then I do. I love seeing their faces when they discover that not only did I fix the issue but made it look better than it ever it before!
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. Cars have been in my family's blood since long before me. I grew up tinkering on engines and messing around with go carts while I was still in grade school. That passion has never stopped!
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. I recently worked on a 2007 red 350Z. The owner is a great guy and tried really hard to keep his baby looking clean and cared for but he could not figure out how to get rid of swirls. The car sadly, had many swirls from front to back, but when I was done with it some 11 hours later, the car looked like it had just been painted!
That vehicle is the profile pic on this listing by the way!
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. Hire a professional to teach you the ropes. This is a profession built on craftsmanship and trust between the client and the detailer. In order to learn the craft and gain the trust of the customers one needs to learn from a professional to start with.
I offer lessons by the way!
