- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have had a big background in music ministry and have performed in hundreds of weddings as a singer. In 2009, I shifted gears and began developing my Officiant services and became Ordained. I am Reverend Brent! SInce then, I have performed dozens and dozens of special ceremonies, created many, many special vows, unearthed wonderful readings, and just have had a ball getting to know so many wonderful couples in love!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I assist with Vow writing if a couple so chooses to do that. I am always thinking of unique touches to add to the ceremony, once I meet the couple and listen to what they might be thinking about.. I love fun ideas.. I create the ceremony rundown with the choices, likes, etc of the couple and we roll from there!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview someone who is truly gifted in public speaking, has many options and ideas to present that will truly bring magic and personal touches to your special day. Your ceremony is twenty-five mintues or less, but you want it to have a distinct beginning, middle and big finish!
