We have had Rodd Booth come to our home on many occasions, over several years now cleaning our windows & gutters; each time we were thoroughly satisfied.
He is very personable; his work is excellent, and he gets the job done on a timely basis.
We definitely will use Rodd's services again.

Rod Booth came into our home and tackled a house that had not had the windows cleaned since we bought it 3 years prior. The work was exceptional and I was shocked how much brighter it was i the home after he was done. The were fast ( I get impatient when things take to long) and professional. I will do business with him again.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Get an estimate in writing, either on paper or email. And meet the company people before you let them in your house or on your property. Do not be afraid to ask for references if you are still unsure. Make sure they have the materials to do the job right. And do not let them use your equipment! If you have tinted windows, where the tinting was applied after the installation, does the person or persons know how to clean the windows. Are they willing to contact the tinting company to find out what to use on the windows. Before you sign a contract ask your self do you really want to be locked into one, remember things happen and schedules have to be flexiable.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. When you try to clean your own windows or touch them up - use towels strictly for windows. When you use towels that are used for other cleaning you leave oils and other chemicals in them. This causes filmy and dirty looking windows. Use Lemon Fresh dish soap ( we will tell and show you how). When closing shutters and blinds turn them up so the sun does not beat down on the furniture or carpet. Before pulling the blinds open make sure the slats are level ( straight across), This will save on the strings.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. 1) Do you have the right equipment to get the job done right? 2)How many years have you been doing this type of work? With today's economic conditions alot of people think they are window cleaners, pool cleaners, landscape maintance experts, and house cleaners etc. Be careful because these jobs are not that easy and alot of people are not as careful as we should and need to be. 3) Do you have insurance? We have seen where clients have been sued because "professionals" have hurt themselves on the client's property. 4)Do you warranty your work? Windows are done when you are at work. You get home and two windows look like they were not done. Will the people come back and redo the bad windows,

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Do you have lots of things in front of the windows that have to be moved ( inside and out). Can you move them? It takes time so you may be charged for the persons to move them. Make a written list on what you want done so the people can not say differently. Remember some window cleaners are able to do more than they can advertise. Mirrors cleaning, web removal and fan cleaning are just a few of the extras that are offered and alot of the times can be included at a discount or no charge at all.
