Chef Hollie is AMAZING!
I am a "Monrovian" and work in the public. It is really hard to surprise my wife with any gift, from any of our few shops on Myrtle that we frequent. So I decided to give her a gift card for a mani/pedi to get rid of her... Then Chef Hollie came IN!! Wow! Not at all what I expected! I know from previously dining in a local cafe she cooked for, that she was great, but this is where AMAZING comes in to play!
I have never ate a lamb so good in my entire life! Oh 1st she did the shopping, cooked, and served! I didn't schedule her for clean up because I thought I would just do it, but being as kind of person as Amazing cook, she stayed anyway...

The Menu I picked was:

1st: Heirlom salad w/ the best cheese I ever ate!

2nd: Lamb Chops, Puff Pastry Wrapped mashed potatoes with carmelized shallot marmalaide
and parsnips.

( so delicious and Rare, YES! Perfection!)

3rd: Dessert... Mmmmm.... My Favorite!
I don't remember what it was called, but it was a crepe with rum flavord creme and something else? oh so good with Bananas carmelized and a syrup sauce!
Anyways, I better stop! My mouth is watering!

It was so easy! She did it all, had every reciept, added it up then added her fees (shopping(food seperate), cooking & cleanup) anyways the Total for a PRICELESS, Perfect, and "you are so thoughtful" filled night!!!!
$350.00 I didn't do a thing, shop for anything, clean anything, drive anywhere, nothing! It was so PERFECT! She was quite happy to get my generous tip as well! haha! You deserved it Hollie! See you again FOR SURE!!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you are looking to actually ENJOY your dinner, either alone or with guests? Then this is a service for you.
If you would rather get your daily duties done and not have to shop, cook and abandon your guests for the majority of the planned event? Then this is the service for you.
If you just want a great meal in the comfort of your own home? Well then you have found the service for you!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. First thing I would ask someone who was going to cook for me would be... Do you follow all food safety and health codes even though your not "technically" cooking for the public?
Because a lot of the time I have seen Personal Chefs just disregard all standards of sanitation and cross contamination just because they are in a clients home.
I can assure you that Why Cook takes all standard precautions as if you were dining out. We care about our clients. We wouldn't feed it to you, if we wouldn't eat it ourselves.
