- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coach, I'm required to do continuing education to stay current in my field and to keep my coaching skills fresh. I welcome it, as it enables me to be at my best for my clients and to continue to grow in my profession. We encourage our clients to keep changing and growing, so we need to do it as well!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Coaching is not about giving advice or specific direction, like mentoring or consulting. It's about creating a partnership between coach and client that allows the client to find their own answers. You are creative, resourceful and whole, just as you are! Coaches help you reconnect with that part of yourself, to rediscover your own power and light.
