Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Low price means something and many, many times it is not good.
The car could be an older, boxy model, smoked in, the person driving is not a chauffeur but a bus or van driver.
They might not show up if they double book and get a better price from another client (a very common compliant).
So be cautious when looking for the" lowest price". You just might get it.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Meeting new and serving our repeat clients. We pride ourselves on exceeding their expectations and building long lasting relationships. It is special to grow to know their families or to discuss world affairs and politics when time allows.
That can only come from having long term chauffeurs as we have developed with 10 to 28 years of experience, who can be assigned to a particular client. It is rare in the industry to find a company with such long term employees such as Your Maitre D Limousine.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The capacity of the limousine, the price and minimum hours of service, plus what form of deposit is required and is it refundable.
We offer sedans to stretch limousines for different size parties. Price is based on the number of passenger and there is normally a 3 hour minimum, as a professional chauffeur will not work for less then the minimum.
As to the deposit, we are not a transportation company, but a pure limousine service and do not require a contract nor deposit. Most require a minimum deposit of $200 to $500 and a signed contract. The amount is usually not refundable.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Make sure they are a licensed vendor. They should e able to provide you with a TCP Number and you can check with the state to see if they have a valid license and if they have any investigations for violations. Sad to say, but many outlaws think they can be a one car limo company and they create a bad name for our industry with their low level of service.
