I train using the most up to date scientific research on canine behavior. I always say there isn't much a dog can't do for their owner and I have experienced that truth over and over again by modifying extreme behaviors and training service dogs to help their handlers mitigate a number of disabilities. I love dogs and helping their people to understand them, this helps keep the dogs in their homes instead of re-homing them. Making the world a better place for dogs and humans is my mission.

Unreliable. Scheduled appointment to come to our house. The day before she rescheduled. On new appointment date she was a no show.

Hi Ron, I apologize for having to cancel our appointments. You were very kind when I called the first time to tell you my mom, who I care for, had had a heart attack and I needed to be with her. We rescheduled and I had to cancel again. I never heard back from you when I left you a message. My mom is doing much better now, we had to change 4 of her medications. I would like to offer you a free consultation and session at your convenience. I have been in business for 8 years and yours is the first negative review I've received. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and hope to rectify the situation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are pretty straight forward, if the client lives within 15 miles of Moorpark, I charge $110.00 for ninety minute sessions. I give quotes for all areas outside of that area. For service dog public access training, I charge $150.00 for 2 hours.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, as a matter of fact this month I'll be attending a seminar in Burbank put on by an amazing dog trainer. The topics will be fearful dog, dog play and separation anxiety in dogs. I also belong to a dvd and book club similar to netflix where I rent educational materials weekly. In addition to this, a belong to a group of dog professionals where we network weekly.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was an interior designer for 20 years and had lost my passion for the business. I was always a huge animal lover, my favorite tv shows growing up were Lassie and Mr. Ed. I had owned a very challenging dog that tried to kill my other dog, I had no idea what to do. I talked to 2 dog trainers and my veterinarian who all recommended I put her down. I knew I had to find a way to help my dog and all of the other dogs who were being surrendered or euthanized.
