Introduction: I have been told that told that one of the reasons I have been so successful is that I take such a person interest in my students. I really try to gear my teaching methods to their particular needs whether they are just beginning or have had experience and want to improve and have a definite goal they want to achieve! I really like to see my students progress! I love to watch them blossom and grow and gain self confidence and joy that they have not experienced before!

I've been taking lessons from Susan for more than a year now. It has been nothing less than a delight, privilege, and pleasure. Susan's professional expertise enables her to assist students on anything from communications, speech, narration, accents reduction, improv, comedy, acting, voice, and singing. Her rich and versatile experience gave her the ability to provide insightful feedback while suggesting the most relevant exercises on which to work. Susan's excellently put together recital allows students to build their confidence in a very fun and supporting environment. Susan is able to relate and work with students of all ages, be it kindergartners or professors. I highly recommend taking lessons from Susan; you'll look forward to your lessons week after week.

Susan Jerome is an exceptional teacher as well as a warm and friendly person. She is easy to work with, but will challenge you to reach your full potential in a constructive and encouraging way. I have become a noticeably better singer after working with her once a week for just two months. She taught me many things about singing that I would never have thought of, as well as how to warm up my voice and how to sing with passion and emotion without sounding cheesy. Her lessons were invaluable, and there is no question that the experience I gained from taking lessons with her has made me a much better musician. I would highly recommend taking a lesson with Susan if you want to get better at singing or acting!

I knew from a very early age that it was the only thing I ever really wanted to do!

Susan Jerome has been a theater and music teacher in the Bay Area for the last 20 years. Specifically from San Francisco to San Jose areas. Susan also has the ability to teach singing and acting lessons via Skype. Susan has extensive training in acting, improvisation, music, dance, modeling, directing and writing. Susan holds a BA in Theater Arts and attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Susan has been a leading show-singer, dancer, actress in New York, Minnesota and the San Francisco area. She is also a professional voice-over commercial artist and has been in many commercials and documentaries nationally. Susan is a member of SAG and AFTRA and has won many awards for her talents. Susan has produced and directed several children's stage and musical productions throughout her prestigious career.
