- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started drawing when I was 8 years old and have always wanted to be an artist. I didn't start painting until I got in to college at the American Academy of Art in Chicago.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
For classes it is always good to know how an instructor teaches. I don't do painting alongs. My students are encouraged to develop their own style in their chosen medium. They are guided through a painting from start to finish with stress on the basic fundamentals of painting.
