Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Weddings, Family Parties. I also get some house parties. Once in a while I DJ @ clubs and bars. I have also done Country Clubs

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Read the bio about the DJ. Look for References. Pictures. Testimonials. Make sure he has a complete system to DJ with.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Music selection. DJ equipment.

Secret? no...Just love what you do as a DJ/MC.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Info should be where the party will be @.
how many hours they need my DJ Services.
what music they want played.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. For Starters I am a Professional DJ/MC. I have been in the Entertainment Business for the last 15years and I am still going strong. I see myself going another 20 years if possible. I am 34 years of age. I speak fluent English & Spanish and have no problem making announcement. Raised with Musicians in my family I have great knowledge of what music to play when needed. Like Cocktail and Dinner hour. I cater to everyone's needs and I will make sure everything is done right. I full understand what it is to have a Great DJ play at your Wedding or event. That's why I have no problem meeting as many times needed. I have a great character and you can call anytime if there is any changed for your event. I go out of my way to make sure the client is satisfied.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Providing them with 100% DJ Services. Having People Dance to my mixing. Seeing Smiles on the People Dancing.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Wedding couples always ask Can you play music I want. I answer them with yes. I will cater to your needs.
I will give them a great DJ show to remember

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Yes, I had to Coordinate a Wedding when the Wedding planner was a no show. I set the time line of all dances, cake cutting, speeches etc. They Wedding Couple loved my work. DJ's are 75% of the show. It's a must know situation

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That I am a True Person. What I mean about True Person is I am understanding. I am honest. I am always on time. I take pride in my job. Being a DJ is what makes me go.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I started off as a MC in 1996 @ the clubs on a strip.
I was intrigued by my DJ Friends. I decided I wanted to be a DJ as well. The pay was much more. I knew it could last. Here I am. Going strong

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I was the DJ @ my Aunts Wedding. I provided her with a performance she still talks about. She loved my DJ show. She event told other people about my DJ service.
Glad I made her happy

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes. Being in the music industry you have to stay up on all music. You have to be on top of all Genres. Have the latest music, also have old music. It's good to have knowledge of all Genres

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Maybe...it got easier lately. DJ's don't have to carry around crates of records. It's all on the hard drive or computer...I like it so far..

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. I have to buy new equipment. New speakers and lights. Speakers are smaller but more powerful. My DJ lights are great. Plus I upgraded my Cordless Mic. The cost was about $1500. Only took me a day to find what I wanted.

A. It's not complicated. It's either by the hour or a flat fee.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. You have to love music first of all. Is this something you want to do part time or full time. Being a DJ takes a lot of work and you have to know your stuff. You need money to make money

No.

But that's what life is about. We can choose a different occupation. Being that several family member were DJ's and Artist it was in my me.
