I'm a professional freelance makeup artist who loves making brides and their parties feel beautiful from the inside out. I am mobile and would love to offer you not only my professionalism and skill, but my ability to put you at ease, and leave you with a smile. I have been doing makeup professionally for over 12 years, mainly in LA, but also all of CA, NY, London, Paris and even Cleveland, where I am from. I have professional experience in all mediums, i.e. hi-def, print, film, video, and commercial, you name it!
Bridal makeup, though, is also one of my specialties! I absolutely feel honored to be part of such a special day and go out of my way to make sure you feel you are in good hands.
I am quite reliable and easygoing and will give you high-level skill and professionalism. I am experienced in working with all ethnicities and skin types, and I can say that I will not only make you look like a star yourself, but feel like one. I have an airbrush kit for flawless application and know the importance of being detail-oriented for those pictures that will last a lifetime.
I am also open to discuss budgets in regard to rates.
So, since this is your big day, let me know what YOU need!

Monique has done my makeup for 4 different events for both my brothers wedding and mine. She is fantastic! Her personality: she is very professional and personable at the same time, always on time and focused on doing her best. Her makeup skills are great. She did airbrush makeup for me and my friends/ family for an Indian and a church wedding, both styles were perfect for the occasions. She blends the colors well and can create both subtle or dramatic looks effortlessly. Her prices are very reasonable as well. I would recommend her hands down to anyone.

A. My most common types of jobs used to be productions in TV or Film, photo shoots and the like but since becoming a mother and being limited to not working 16 hour days, my most common jobs have been taking care of my son and beautifying brides. I still do some "industry" work with TV and such but I much prefer the time with my child, bringing smiles to him and to the clients who have faith in me.
A. I would say, when searching for a makeup artist, especially if it's for your wedding day, a big day with memories (and pictures) to last a lifetime, to find out what the artist's background/experience is, look at pictures of their work, set up a trial to get to know that artist in a more personal way to see if you gel with them in a positive way and like their work and then go with your gut. The artist should be there to serve you and make you feel at ease on your big day in every way.
A. I come from a very eclectic professional background and my work does not only stand out with skills but with attitude for my whole reason for being in this business is to bring happiness and beauty not only on the surface but within.
A. I love making people smile and making them feel great about themselves inside and out. I love the diversity and the creativity and the fact I get to meet new people all over the world. It never gets stale. It's always a joy.
A. What are your rates is the most common question, and do you travel?
My answer is dependent on their needs for all I aim to do is meet their needs. Yes, I always do travel and my rates vary depending on the size of the party and the services provided. I try to stay competitive with prices but true to myself with the experience I have to offer.
