This is a long overdue review. But feel so happy with the results and feel I should post it so they can be considered by more customers! Best value for tile installation you can get in the bay area. I remodelled my place last year and worked with like 10 contractors. They are definitely among the few that I'm happy to work with again. Erick was hard-working, kept the work site clean, paid good attention to details and carried out my ideas beautifully. Sorry about the delayed review and thank you Erick for giving me a kitchen that I'm happy to look at every day!

Erick did an outstanding job in installing our kitchen backsplash, while Lupe coordinated things perfectly during the entire process. Erick is also very meticulous and punctual at his work. Here is a picture of our finished backsplash, which he painstakingly installed one-tile-at-a-time, and it completely changed the look of our kitchen.

Fantastic job. We had ~18 feet of floor to ceiling tiling on our fireplace. The job took 3 full days and we are very happy with the results.

DIY bathroom shower tiling gone wrong. We had to hire a professional to help. In comes EMJ Tile to save the day. We got an in-person assessment and received an estimate by email. It was easy to communicate with EMJ Tile via text. Erick had to help us fix the walls we previously installed, as they were not level. From there it was smooth sailing. You can really see the difference in a professional’s work, and I’m so glad we decided to go with EMJ tile. He’s hardworking, very experienced, and patient. The project came out very beautifully, I’m so happy with how it turned out! We still have to patch up the walls and repaint but these pictures are just to show the tile work.

Erick and Lupe were a delight to work with!! Their responses are quick and process is easy to understand. Erick showed up early for the estimate and finished the project exactly when promised. His handiwork is great quality. He is diligent and hardworking and has all of his own tools, drop cloths, etc. He tackled a demo of older slate tiles laid on concrete and did a suburb job. He also installed new tiles in both my bathrooms. Grey wood looking tile on floor and long subway tiles on the bathroom wall. Their prices are reasonable and I plan to hire them for more projects and recommend them to friends/family! Since EMJ didn't have many reviews on Thumbtack when I was researching, I asked them to provide me references. Every reference RAVED about them. Add me to the list because I'd recommend EMJ Tile for any tile work you need done!
